Harris, Virgil Eugene, 68, died April 3, 2013. Graveside service 3 p.m. Thursday, Maize (Kan.) Park Cemetery with Pastor Don Wharton officiating. Mr. Harris was born Sept. 30, 1944, in Iola, Kan., the son of Virgil S. and Beulah (Johnson) Harris. Survivors: daughters, Tonya Parker of Dawson, Ga., Brandy Douthit of St. Joseph, Mo.; brothers, Gary of Wichita, Dale of Pflugerville, Texas, Richard of Dawson, Ga. Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Colwich.
