Marlene Elizabeth Ramey born July 13th, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas. Parents Wilbur W. Mateer and Miriel Crabtree Mateer. Survivors include her son Leon M. Ramey. Sister Marcia Levernier & husband Jim. One niece, Michelle Infanger, Montana. One nephew, Steven Stiger, Colorado. Preceded in death by her husband Leonard M. Ramey. Worked at Walmart warehouse 6008 for 21 years.

This is really sad to see Marlene pass, as she was a really good friend to me, and areally close personal friend to Nola for 73 years, as they were best friends and grew up together from the time they werre 4 years old. I had the opportunity of knowing Marlene, as we would always stop and visit and spend time with her as we headied to Wichita. I know that she is in a better place now and will not suffer anymore! I will miss her dearly!

I'm so glad that Nola introduced me to Marlene. Since we live in the same town, we've had many good times since. I'll always remember laughing a lot with her, we always had a good time. We flew to NC once to visit Frank & Nola, and I think we laughed all the way there. She was a kind soul and always positive, being able to add humor to a sober situation. I'll really miss her.
