Marsha Lynne King, 63, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Yuma Regional Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas. Before retiring Marsha was a professional violinist, violist, and vocalist. She was the principle violist with the Queens New York Symphony. For many years she was a pit musician in Broadway shows. She was co-founder of Jericho Singers and Brass, a Christian performing group. She served as co-chair for Billy Graham Associate Crusade attendance committee. She was a music teacher and she also co-owned a manufacturing business. Marsha was a graduate of the music department of the University of Connecticut and also taught in the Junior High practice school where she designed the music curriculum for the state of Connecticut. Marsha was very active in both the Yuma and Orange County, California communities. She was a proud member of the Red Hatters Club. She was also a board member of the County Youth Boxing Association.

She is survived by her husband, J. David King; son, Eric N. (Denise) Rager; grandsons, Cade, and Matthew Rager; sisters, Karen D. (Delmer) Staley, and Madelon J. (Gerald) Couch; step-daughter, Denise (Fred) Jones; step-children, Jonathan King, Kyla Jones, and Isaiah Jones; three nieces; one nephew; and seven cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, L. Graydon and Virginia M. Schuh. A celebration of her life will be officiated by Reverend Cathleen Jaworowski at Johnson Mortuary on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. Viewing will be at 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The final resting place will be at Westminster Memorial Park, Westminster, California.
