Glenn Darwin Smith, age 68, of Coppell, TX, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was born on August 18, 1944 in Wichita, KS to Glenn & Velma Smith.

Glenn was the youngest of 4 children. He married Mrs. Sharon Smith in Wichita, KS on April 7, 1967. They had 1 child. He attended Wichita High School North and graduated in 1962. He was a resident of Coppell, TX for the last 31 years. He was employed as a Superintendent in the plastering trade for 36 years. Glenn was a member of Lodge #167 Alameda Masonic Lodge in Freemont, CA. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing. He loved his family and was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild; he is due to be born on November 25, 2013.

Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn L. & Velma Smith and brother Richard Smith.
Glenn will be remembered by his loving wife Sharon and their son: Scott M. Smith and wife, Alyssa. He is also survived by siblings, Kenneth Smith and wife Lois, Doris Dubois and husband Dennis; brother-in-law, Charles Buerki and wife Artis; sisters-in-law, Kendra Corbin and husband Wayne, and Donna Dudley and husband Charles and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm at Restland Coppell Chapel, where Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Interment at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center.
