Charles W. "Charlie" Whitworth

Whitworth, Charles "Charlie" W. age 74, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019. Charlie was born in Wichita, the son of the late Charles E. and Wanda Whitworth. Charlie spent most of his life in broadcasting in Wichita. After retiring, he volunteered at the Wichita Public Library. Survivors include: nephews, Don H. Whitworth, Jr. and wife, Vicky L., Jon N. Whitworth, and David E. Whitworth; numerous great nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law, Dorothy McCullough. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don H. Whitworth and Tom E. Whitworth; niece, Rebecca Sue Pritchett; nephews, Michael L. and George E. Whitworth. Cremation services have been held. Private inurnment will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery.
