Okay... I moved to Santa Cruz the summer after graduation, and spent the next 8 years there,voluntarily underemployed while working on my painting and my tan. I started school a couple of years later, graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a BA in Anthropology in 1996. By then I met my husband, Andrew, and my other passion, clay... in the same class, in fact. We moved to the Bay Area and have been residing here since. I've been running a small production clay studio full-time since 2000, with an employee and LOTS of interns. Pretty happy most of the time!
