Making cheerleading when I was a senior...was a highlight of my senior year.
A great memory seeing Wayne Bixby at an assembly in the auditorium stand up and protest the bullying of a certain senior boy in our class that was nominated for class president as a joke. I had great respect for his courage.
Drum Corp...Blue Angels was so much fun. Just Wilson Students in it. It was the best summers of my life. Linda Julias and I will always remember Wayne and Jack!!
The Beach Boys and the Beatles the era of new music for us.

No doubt for me it was field hockey. Never could play any other sport but loved this one and didn't do bad for a short person.

The Fugitive in 1964. Was not much of a TV watcher but could not wait for the following episode week after week.

Garth Brooks definitely...went with my son Joe and daughter Joanne....Garth was a great entertainer. We sang all the songs and had such a great time. this was about 18 years ago .. I had just arrived at Buffalo Airport from Michigan visiting relatives and had the energy to got enjoy this concert last minute. Don't know I could do that today!

Too much to mention. I love music and listen to all kinds. I play the oldies for fitness classes. They love it.

Being a student at Wilson was sometimes trying for me. I will always be thankful for the friends I had that helped me through it. We never realize how being mean to others affects them. Being left out and called names for ones nationality or facial flaws is hurtful and bears scars.
For me it taught me to have more compassion for others and show acts of kindness. I have been in a profession for over 35 years that compassion is key in helping other achieve. Honest listening and caring gives others the motivation to move forward. I am thankful that I have made a difference in others lives.

Parents and Grandparents are asked to participate afterward. Madison wants to present me. Before it is my turn she taps my shoulder and says to me. "Grandma why are you going to confession, you do not sin."
to me this was a gift was more precious than any money could buy.

Somehow we have made it this far.
