Billy Stevens (1971)

Billy was a friend of our family and was the first of several friends that didn't make it back from Vietnam. Our dad's work together at the same plant and we lived just one block from each other and enjoyed many neighborhood and company parties together. The lost of Billy brought the realism of the Vietnam war to me and most of my friends. Billy was a great guy and I wish he was here with us!

I remember Billy as our first casuality of Viet Nam.  Before he left for the war, he was just a funny and crazy guy.  He made us laugh.
