Arlington, Texas - Alvin E. Irving, Jr. died Wednesday, Feb 2, 2011 in Houston, TX. Memorial service to take place at St. Louis Catholic Church in Winnie, Texas, Saturday February 12, 2011, 2:30 pm. Alvin was born January 18, 1952, in Opelousas, LA to Alvin E. Irving Sr. and Dorothy M. Irving. He was a graduate of East Chambers High School Class of '71, Winnie, Texas He was preceded in death by his birth Father and sister, Marie A. Redmon. Alvin's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his Mother, Dorothy M. Goodman; father, Peter A. Goodman of Arlington; son, Alvin E. Irving III, of NY, NY.; Brother, Carl E. Gant of Arlington; two grandchildren; two aunts and uncles; two nieces and two nephews.
