I graduated with a degree in Political Science from SIU Carbondale and worked for the Illinois House of Representatives for over a decade. I left that career to stay home with Savannah and Jake for a number of years (the number one most awesomest job of ALL TIME, yeah I said awesomest) and then went back to work in Commercial Real Estate. I currently manage a historical 31 story building in Downtown St. Louis. I live in the Metro East and spend most of my time running Savannah and Jake to and from their sports activities. We spend a lot of time in Chicago, New York, Maine (with my brother Elijah) and Springfield (with my sister Grace and my brother Pat). My dream career is to be a fine arts photographer or photo journalist for Time mag--I'm still working on that. I have a strong family network and ... Life isn't just good, it's great!
