Marilyn Kelly Ryan

After leaving Wyo-Hi in 1957; I attended Bradley U. on scholarship where I met Tom Ryan. We had three daughters. In 1987, I entered the real estate profession after successful completing a two-year real estate program. I worked for Traders Realty & Jim Maloof Realty. I appraised properties for Princeville Bank & others. I retired from real estate when I husband's health failed.

One day at Wyo-Hi; my best friend, Cheryl Best decided our gang, which included: Cheryl, Elsie Dunn, Vera Huffman, Kay Streitmatter & Ida Meaker, & myself should put a blonde streak in our hair. I poured the bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide over my hair part. It turned orange. It looked so bad that I tried to cover the orange w/brown hair color but instead the orange turned green! I learned to leave highlighting hair to the professionals.
