After graduation I attended Northwest College in Kirkland. Graduated in 1984 with a BA in Biblical Literature.

In 1981 I married Eva. We celebrated our 27th anniversary this year.

After college I spent 11 years @ H.D. Fowler Co. in Bellevue, WA (a waterworks & underground utilities wholesaler) I moved into their pump department & spent most of those years with a phone surgically implanted in my ear (or maybe it just seemed that way!) until one of my customers offered me a chance to get out in the field and get my hands dirty.

For the next couple of years I was an installer/service technician @ Specialty Pump & Well Service in Snohomish, WA. In 1998, Eva's parents had some health issues and we relocated to Pomeroy to help with their care and the daily chores around their property. After a few months of working to establish an eastern Washington branch for Specialty, I went to work for the local electrical contractor. I am now a journeyman electrician and our son Chad is my apprentice.

This summer our sons decided they could handle an apartment together, so we have the house to ourselves again. I'm currently in the process of remodeling our kitchen and customizing some older cabinets to fit the space. Aside from work, remodeling, & trying to keep up with our place, I enjoy some wood-working and try to fish as much as I can.
