Bonnie McMillen Stephenson-Jester

Married high school sweetheart, Jim Stephenson, 9/14/64 and lived in Ygst until 1/88 when we moved to Florida. He passed on 8/22/1988 from his second heart attack. The boys, then 13 and 9, and I stayed in Florida where we lived in a beautiful community and I worked at the office there. Tina stayed in Buffalo and Kim was stationed with the Air Force in Japan. 9/28/90 I met the "2nd" love of my life, Clark, and we married 12/28/1991. I now had two step daughters and our family of six blended seemlessly. They even resemble brothers and sisters. We have since moved into the house of our dreams and have 13 grandchildren, ranging in age from one to 19. One, grandson, Cole, was killed 5/18/2007, at the age of 22 mos, when he was hit by a car, driven by someone on a cell phone and not watching the road. It was so tragic, but we know he is with his grandpa Jim and watching over all of us. He was Tammy's son.
Clark and I have 9 rental houses now and did several flips while the market was booming. We still hope to get back into it some day. For now, we are operating a nut business. It's call "Nutz 2 U" and we have a mobile unit with the large copper kettle and make those delicious cinnamon glazed nuts you see at fairs and art shows. We have been really busy and I am working on a website now, so that orders can be placed on line and shipped anywhere.
I am happier than I have ever been and we are enjoying life to the fullest. Actually, I am at my "fullest" too, but heck, we're in our sixities and enjoying the life of Gramma and Papa.

Every Halloween, I remember the year some of my friends came to my house trick-or-treating. I was not allowed to go out, so when I answered the door in my pajamas and saw my friends, I was mortified! I think we were in 8th or 9th grade. Anyway, they proceeded around the back where the big slider windows were, (that I had just washed that day), and did their soap thing! My Dad caught them and made me get the Windex and paper towels, so they could clean all the mess off the windows. I was so embarresed when I had to go back to school, but, as with most embarassing times, it became funny over the years.
