Tres' Latest Interactions
So sorry to learn about this, Kenny.
I've known Brett since we were kids, playing baseball at Forest Hills Little League together, going to CHS together, and also University of Florida. I've never heard anyone utter anything but positives about Brett his entire life. Always a genuinely nice guy, and he will be missed by many. I spoke to our mutual friend, Bob Adrian, today about Brett, and neither of us can believe he's gone so young. Finding out that 2 of your childhood friends have died in the past couple weeks really puts things in perspective. I'm sure there will be many of us who wish we could chat with both Alan Hearn and Brett at our 40th reunion in September, along with the others we've lost over the years. Hopefully, we will all reunite someday.
I hate hearing that. Just 38. He had half his life left to live. I remember his unique voice, too. I can hear him talking right now. RIP, Sammy
I heard that Sammy had passed away. Does anyone know what happened to my old friend from Adams Jr. High and then CHS? We played football for the Carrollwood Cardinals the one year my mother would let me play football, and played next to each other as defensive backs.
Like Bob, I was not friends with Juanita, but I definitely remember her from CHS. Very sorry to read this. I am sure whe was very loved by her friends and family, and wish she was still here to join us at the 40th reunion in 3 months.
Even though I havn't seen Alan in probably 20 years, I still thought of him regularly, and talked recently about him with our mutual friends Jon Brill and Peter Randolph. Alan was an always-smiling, athletic guy when we were growing up, and all the girls loved him. I wish I had reached out to him a few months ago when his name came up. I'll never forget my fellow Adams Jr. High and CHS classmate, and Forest Hills Little Leaguer. May we meet up again someday in a better place.
I thought you were one grade behind me!
I'll trade you a 1971 Ernie Banks for Vida Blue!
