Can anyone share what happened to Kim? She was a delightful friend and always made me laugh during classes!

On or around April of this year, Kim died of trauma to her head while at home by herself. It is thought that she may have slipped or fell. That is all that I know about her death.

Oh my gosh what a tragedy for her and family. She really was such a nice girl in my memory, I need to go get the ol Totem yearbook out and refresh my memory of what she and I had together but I do remember her as being a really nice girl. What a shame :(

Kim was a great girl and saw all of us as equals! She faced some demons as the years came about and fought them hard! She leaves behind family and friends who know how great she was in this life!

Kim and I twirled baton at her mom's studio on the corner of N. Blvd and Fletcher, took dance class and laughed alot! Her smile was contagious and bright! So sad to hear about her accident that cut her life short. I am sure she was a great mother and taught her kids to get the most out of life like she did!

First off, please forgive me for not knowing sooner that Kim has passed.  I certainly regret finding out so long afterwards.  When I read this morning that she was gone, a part of my boyhood passed as well.  You see, I had an incredible crush on Kim May from the third grade to the fifth grade.  It was only after she repeatedly checked "no" in my "do you love me? Check yes or no" love notes that I got the hint. I'm now proud to say, it took me two years to give up!  She brought really fun energy to the third grade and I will never forget how cute and fun she was.

The attached photo is testimony to my case.  Kim is in the first row and I am in the second, and the reason the goofy little blond boy is smiling so big is because Ms. York had just rearranged our desks and I was now right next to Kim May!

My thoughts to her family and friends.

Please rest in peace Kim.

Eric and Dean, yes I was in that class with you and Kim and going back a few more years this 2nd grade class. Kim is in the second row vertical stripes (I'm in the 3rd row, horiz stripe shirt). Kim always had a smile on her face, she was a great friend from elementary through high school. My sister took dance at her families dance studio. She will be greatly missed.

Rest In Peace Kim
