Frank DeLucia was one of the most wonderful guys in the world.  I got to know Frankie at Troy High through Larry Graber as they were best friends.  He was just the all american guy who had no agenda other than to be a good friend and person and he was just the kind of son to his family that we would all want to claim as ours.

"BUNNY" was his nickname.  It was always a blast with Frankie, Larry Graber, George O'Connor, Jack O'Connor (no relation) and others.  He made good grades and went to Clarkson College.  It was there on Monday, 4 Nov 1963, that he had a berry aneurysm that burst.  This is a blood vessel at the base of the brain and if it bursts, it is like a horrible stroke.  He was 19.

There are many with great stories with Frankie.  I always found it interesting that he "skipped" the clicks.   I cannot remember anyone else that did this at Troy High.   Anyone reading this will know what I mean.  He could be with practically anyone in any group and he would blend  wonderfully.  If you knew Frankie, you had...I mean HAD to like him.

I got to know his family quite well.  If you knew his family with his wonderful sister (and beautiful !!!) Rosemary and his brother Joey and especially his mother, then you would understand why Frankie could put it all together in life.  He just had all of the tools to make friendships work, be successful in school, enjoy life to its fullest and a knack to make all around him feel part of his crowd.  Certainly one of the most interesting people I have ever known.  What a loss to our world at such an early age.

Frankie is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy on Tibbets Ave very near to the road in a midsection of the sites next to the fence.  I know this because I visit him every year since he passed away.  If you knew Frankie and his family, you would feel like you were another family member.  How rare is that.

Frankie....you are missed by many as you were taken from this world at such a young age.  The memories of you are strong and few pass through our lives like you.
