Harold Walter Bryza, 80, entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2026.
Born on August 1, 1945, in Redding, Pennsylvania, Harold was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Grace Miller Bryza. He was a man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and a lifelong curiosity that shaped both his career and his many interests.
Harold proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for more than twenty years as an aircraft mechanic. His military career reflected his exceptional mechanical abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. Following his retirement from the Air Force, Harold continued to embrace life with the same adventurous spirit that had carried him throughout his years of service by following his wife through her 27-year Air Force career.
For the past twenty years, Harold made his home in Warner Robins, Georgia. He enjoyed traveling and was always eager to explore new places and experience different cultures. A lifelong technology enthusiast, he loved working with computers and keeping up with the ever-changing world of technology. Music brought him great joy, and he appreciated the way it could bring people together and brighten everyday life. Harold also had a special place in his heart for animals, showing kindness and compassion to every creature he encountered.
Harold will be remembered for his faithful service to his country, his inquisitive mind, and the quiet generosity he extended to those around him. His memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by siblings, Josephine Garmen, Jane Dumbos, Ida Haag, Margaret “Margo” Dunkelberger (Weider), Annie LaBoy, Ruth Bryza, Wiliam “Bill” Bryza, and Judy Sanders.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Kathy Boyd-Bryza; and siblings, Cheryl Ferwerda (Rick), Gerald “Jerry” Bryza (Edith), Sandra Fletcher (Richard), Grace Wagner (Robert), Shirley Dunkelberger, Lillian “Dolly” Quillman, and Virginia "Ginny" Moyer; sister-in-law, Marge Bryza; brothers-in-law, Tony Boyd (Cindy) and Joey Boyd; and mother-in-law, Kathryn Boyd.
At the request of the family, all services will be private.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.

Kathy Boyd-Bryza (wife) would like to ask everyone that knew Harry, to please put your comments on our website in the memory section, how you knew and your favorite stories with him.
She would appreciate seeing these, because she met Harry after he returned to the USA,
after he having served in Rhein Main's Enroute Mx Section.
Kathy would enjoy meeting the many Enrouters in the 435th OMS Enroute Mx Section,
because he talked about us all the time and the memories he had.
There will be a two "Celebrations of Life" held at a later date.

I was very saddened, when I had heard Harry had passed away.
Sadly, I didn't know he was battling cancer.
Having known and worked for Harry at Rhein Main was an honor and a pleasure.
I never heard him raise his voice, dislike anyone and was always smiling.
Seeing him at our reunions, was always fantastic seeing him and how he mingled with everyone,
sharing their wonderful memories together.
In 2007, we had a Mini-Reunion in Warner Robins, GA.
Harry and his wife (Kathy) invited all of us to their house for a BBQ and a day of great fellowship.
Harry and I had talked about putting a 435th OMS Enroute Mx Memorial plaque at the
Warner Robins Air Museum, but sadly, we never finished this project.
Harry -- to the man that never aged, its been an honor and pleasure having known and
calling you friend.
Please tell FIG and the many other Enrouters that have made their final flights into the heavens,
hello for all of us.
