Vinson Jerome Hines Sr. died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC.

Funeral will be Wednesday at noon at Alpha and Omega Christian Center.

He was born March 13, 1952, to the late Victor Hines Jr. and Lucille Hines in Wake County. He was married to Tina Hines.

He is survived by six children.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

The family will receive friends at 802 National Drive.

Arrangements are by E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Inc.
