Steven W Coleman - Year Assigned 1979 VIEW PROFILE

Steve William Coleman

Born:       4 Nov 1952

Passed:  22 Nov 2003

I had the pleasure of seeing Steve at the 2003 Enroute Reunion in St Louis.

Steve always had the nack in making people smile and was always great working with.

Steve passed away in his sleep due to heart failure.

A TRUE ENROUTER

Steve, you are sadly missed.

Steve and I would work together on C-141/C-5 engine/ Inst problems on many occasions, what a wonderful guy. If he had an INSTRUMENT PROBLEM in conjunction with an Jet ENGINE problem, he would never leave until all problems systems were repaired. I will never forget our trip to BERLIN. Steve was a tall person which you could not lose in a crowd. Many great memories. I was very fortunate to see him in ST LOUIS at the 2002 Reunion before he passed away.----FIG

Steve Coleman happened to be my immediate supervisor when I first arrived in Germany Mar.1980. I learned everything I knew from him when it came to working on aircrafts...great technician. He and I were also softball players together, best first baseman I ever played with, and one of the best hitters I ever had the pleasure of playing with. Steve has left some lasting memories in my mind and he will surely be missed by many. Good people. Amo, amo...canine!!!! You will always be missed and loved.

I remember Steve very well, while at Rhein Main we went TDY together to Greece, had a great time there. When I got stationed back to Beale AFB there is Steve stationed there too, I later got a assignment to QA and worked with Steve we was both in QA at the same time. I will have to dig through my pictures and find the pictures of him.
Steve you are missed old buddy.
