From l965-l987, I was busy working and raising the girls. I worked at their school, which was wonderful, so I didn't miss out on much. When Lynn graduated, I decided to finish my business degree from DSU. I had taken the two year business course that was offered back then but had always planned to return. It was great fun. During that time, I worked at Washington Co. Youth Court. I stayed there until the Judge didn't get re-elected. I've been retired about 10 years.
On a more personal level, I have been actively involved in Deaf Ministry Work in our State and my church. I've signed for many years and still do when needed. I've had the honor of writing Sunday School lessons and a ladies Bible Study. May do some more of that, but it certainly takes time!
I sing in the choir at church and serve on various committees as well as teach the senior most ladies in Sunday School.
I still love playing flute and play at church, weddings, etc Not as much as in the past though. That's my one regret. I wish I had pursued music as a career.
My heart is at home with Jim. Jim and I married in 1975 and he is wonderful. I love visiting family and friends. I have 5 grandchildren and one wonderful son-in-law. My girls live in Cordova and Madison, and we see them as often as possible.
