I attended the University of Akron from Fall 1979 - May of 1983 though I didn't graduate. While I was there I became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in Spring of 1982. I returned home to Cleveland where I attended Cleveland State University briefly before I relocated to the Washington, DC area to work for the FBI (1987). I left there in 1988 and moved on to work for IRS until 1997, when I took a job with the Smithsonian Institution Libraries until Sept. 2001 when I left to work for the FDA (U.S. Food & Drug Administration) where I am currently working. I transferred from Cleveland State to the University of the District of Columbia when I moved here in 1987 and finally obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English in Fall 1994. I live and work in Maryland, right outside Washington, DC. I am very active with Delta Sigma Theta, DC Pan Hellenic Council and still singing (the Washington Performing Arts Society's Men & Women of the Gospel mass choir). I also take Bellydancing classes as a form of workout (I began in July of 07).
