James William Black, 23, son of Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Black of Coldwater was killed in an accident on October 11, 1969 that occurred near his home on Kuhn Road.

Jim entered the Army in August of 1964 and served a year in Germany and two years in Vietnam. He had been employed at Yaney Sawmill since his discharge in March of 1969.
