Paul P. Ponzuric

Paul Ponzuric was born on Jan. 25, 1916 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.  He died on March 30, 1972 at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.  He arrived in Coldwater in 1949 and served as the football coach at Coldwater High School for 21 years.  He also served as principal, physical education teacher and auto mechanics instructor.  He retired in 1971.  He was survived by his wife, Gretchen, and one son, John, and grandson John Jr..  Other survivors included four sisters and five brothers.

A mass of Christian burial was held at Holy Trinity Church and burial in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
