Lavon W. Haver

Oak Harbor  -  Retired teacher Lavon W. Haver, 63,  9140 Long Beach Road, died in Hicksville Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, Saturday afternoon after apparently suffering a heart attack.  

     Mr. Haver was born August 7, 1925, to Walter and Pearl (Vogelsong) Haver.  He married Lucille Stoneczek Haver of Swanton on July 2, 1955.  

     A retired school teacher, Haver's last position was at the Coldwater Public School System.  

     Surviving him are his wife, Lucille;  two daughters, Lori Ruschau of Cridersville; and Lisa Rutschilling, of Covington; two grandsons; his mother, Pearl, of Hicksville; and two sisters, Dorothy Meek of Hicksville; and Phyllis Sipe of Bryan.

     The funeral service is at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home, 706 N. Main St., Hicksville.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. today and after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
