I think it was the summer we graduated. He was in the hospital a long time. His Mom was a nurse and he died at home. I think it was May 1969 when he passed away.

Gordon was my neighbor and a dear friend. He was on hia motorcycle waiting for a red light in downtown Dubuque and a semi backed over him. Anita Finzel Bruckner
