I was tired yesterday and i’m tired again today, so I guess that makes me retired! However, I do work part time for certain friends and long-term clients.

My wife is a retired math teacher. We’ve lived in The Woodlands since 1979.

Terri was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s 3 years ago. Of all the challenges I’ve had over the years, this one tops them all. However, I’ve discovered that God never gives us more than we can handle and blessed me with gifts to help me cope!

Graduated BHS by the skin of my teeth. Graduated SHSU BBA and MBA thanks to GI Bill (US Navy vet), Southwest Graduate School Of Banking and American institute of Banking.

God puts people in our lives for very specific reasons. Such is the case with my wife Terri who helped me to rediscover my faith in God, and who saw something in me that I still don’t truly understand. Despite my many shortcomings, she loves me unconditionally. She helped me overcome alcohol and addiction, demonstrated every attribute of a totally committed wife and mother, and encouraged me to become successful in ways I never could have dreamed.

Now, as she struggles with Alzheimer’s, as her caregiver, it has become obvious why she needed me to become the husband she knew I would become. Today, I am totally committed to this labor of love, the same labor that she lived all her life!
