Isn't life interesting? It has certainly proven to be eventful. I never realized what a wonderful time LJH was until Randy gave me this opportunity to reflect on it. It seems that all of us at some level were friends. It was an amazing time that can't be replaced. We will never beat the days of hanging out in front of the school before classes. It is so great I have been able to stay in touch with many of my close friends! Well let's see... I moved on, surrived Ben L. Smith, lasted a hard year at UNCG, married...had a beautiful daughter...divorced, hit the road playing music for a few years, came home from the road, became a firefighter, went back to school and recieved my 2 yr degree from GTCC. Let me just say I'm omitting a bunch, but I'm still doing the Firefighter thing for 21 years, and I still love to play music. It's all good after all these years, and I wish the same for all of you.

One of my favorites is taking shop class with Mr. Williams. You never knew when you were going to say the "wrong thing" and you would hear, "Hey boy come up here and take a dose" with that paddle of his. I always had a knack for saying the "wrong thing" A LOT!!!
Oh well, all the pain turns later into fond memories...whodathunkit.
