Mark Donicht

I was an actor and a musician and a spiritual seeker in my 20s... the day I turned 30 I decided to start a publishing company and did so (without any money or business experience). The first 5 years were a financial struggle, but we finally got some best sellers out and my company, New World Library, has been publishing some pretty wonderful books ever since, including CREATIVE VISUALIZATION by Shakti Gawain, THE SEVEN SPIRITUAL LAWS OF SUCCESS by Deepak Chopra, and THE POWER OF NOW (my all-time favorite book!) by Eckhart Tolle. Some of the plays we produced were some of my favorite memories, especially "Antigone," directed by Tony Steblay, but many others too. We entered a short version of "Antigone" in the state one-act play content, I remember, and it was a powerful experience for all. And the choir performances! I had an amazing spiritual experience one time singing Bach with Wally Gears directing the choir. And the talent shows had amazing moments, when I think back on them. Terry Soland (is that the right spelling?) singing the sweet love song "The Siene" with my brother Will Donicht playing guitar. It was beautiful. So many sweet moments. So many beautiful girls in the class! Unforgettable.
