Maren Mattola Schiefen

I have been married for 14 years to Carl Schiefen (ND High Crusader). We have three kids, Gregory, Amanda, and Jessica. I have been teaching for 18 years, the last 11 @ Big Flats Elementary School. I am so proud to be teaching in the Horseheads School District. My parents still live in Horseheads in the same house and are both retired, healthy, and happy. Our kids play basketball all year round and the girls play volleyball and lacrosse so that makes me very happy! Overall, life is very good and I am looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces @ our reunion this summer! Go Blue Raiders Go!!!!!

I just remember being in the old building (that no longer exists) for three years. Our homerooms were in the old building and most of our classes too. I especially remember the weight room in the basement and that old gym during the summer for volleyball workouts. I also remember the tiny gym with the stage that we used to play pickleball in for gym classes. I actually was able to get a brick when they knocked the building down. It has HH stamped on it. I also remember the crowds we used to get coming to our volleyball games. That gym was packed and it was awesome to play in front of such a pumped up crowd!
