To All Jax Alumni

Judy Washington Mears Alexander called me this evening to say that Larry Mears

had lost his battle with a rare acute Palsy disease today, Monday, August 27th.

Larry had been in a facility for quite some time and, in Hospice care, for the last  couple of weeks.

Larry was on the Jax Football squad from 10th thru our Senior Year.  I am sure other classes before our '57 graduation will remember him. Larry had his 74th birthday in March.

He is survived by his two sons and four grandchildren.

There will be no Memorial Service but resting place will be in the Florida Keys per his request.
