We just got back from San Antonio. We sold our home and will relocate to SA. Surely we will be back to Florida and look forward to seeing you again...soon. We had a great time at the reunion and you did a spectacular job. It was one of the most outstanding events I have ever attended punctuated with exception planning and execution. Dear Patti and all Committee Members,
A heartfelt THANKS to each and everyone of you for all the hard work you had to do to create such a warm, memorable Reunion weekend. All the adjectives (good ones) could apply to describe just how great and how much Fun it was.

We were only able to be there for one evening and Saturday morning but never the less, it was a tremendous highlight for Jon and I.

Also, would like to add to the "now-cleanup fund" I can imagine what all it involved. We can't say enough. Thanks for all you accomplished. Thoughts and love to all.

Love, Joanne and Ray Perer and I wanted to thank the 57 reunion committee for all the work you did. I enjoyed myself fully. I was on a high for days. Every one as so open and friendly. I really needed our get together. I am so far away from Miami and feel like my whole Allapattah experience has been blocked out with no connection. That's why this weekend helped me. Thanks to the committee for putting in so much effort. My computer won't let me in to write where I want to. Excuse the crazy form. My heart is in the right place.

Since the weekend has come and gone, I have received a couple of phone calls from long lost friends. If what I've been told is fact, the reunion was probably the best yet considering it was a 50th. The amount of classmates showing up was stunning. So many came from so far. Sorry I couldn't be there to share in the memories. Maybe one day we can look forward to a 55th or 60th. You know that statistics prove we are a country that lives longer. God bless and thank you committee for doing such a wonder job for the Jackson Generals !

June 13, 2007 -  More Fun than I Realized!

Dear Patti and other members of the Reunion Committee,
I can't tell you how much my husband Tony and I enjoyed the reunion. It makes me feel sorry that I missed the earlier events, but fortunate that I was able to make this one. You all obviously worked hard to make the occasion such a success - interesting, festive and elegant. Getting together with classmates was more fun than I realized it could be. Many thanks to you all for your willingness to sacrifice your valuable time to get us all together.

I hope Tony and I can be involved in future reunions. A cruise sounds like a good idea.

I'm sorry I couldn't get to your reunion. I had to be in Bronson Fl. and was unable to change things. I send you and your, whole committee my heartiest congratulations on a successful event. Having done our's last year, I know the time and work you all put in to make it a special time for everyone who was able to attend. The one thing I found out last year, was how good you guys feel for pulling all of it together to make it work. It takes special people to do it.

Patti - I just wanted to thank you for all your work in making our reunion a super event. It could not have been better! The only downside was not really being able to spend as much time with each of the people I would have liked to. Just too many people and too much stimulation!
