Pictured above is Eric's son, Shane, and his grandson, Tyler. You can see that they look an awful lot like Eric. His grandson is a "hoot" and alot of fun to be around.
My family moved from Stanley to Mount Holly in 1967. Eric was one of the first kids I met in my new neighborhood. He and I lived very close to each other and spent many days and nights at each other's homes. We played Little League and Optimist ball together and discovered a lot about life during our formative elementary school days. We remained close into junior high, but took different paths after that. I will never forget those days and will remember Eric and his family fondly.
