TSgt. James R. Childers (born 13 May 1930 - died 10 Dec 2012, New Mexico.  He was the NCOIC of the carpenter shop, when I reported to the 7310th Civil Engineering Squadron.  In August 1969 he was transferred to Tan Son Nhut Air Base, in Vietnam, and retired after 20 years.  He is buried in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico.  He is listed on Find A Grave - Millions of Cemetery Records under James R. Childers (1930 - 2012).
