Graveside services for Shirley Morris McDonald Kitchens, age 56, of Sherman, TX will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Shirley passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at her residence in Sherman.
She was born on July 28, 1955 in Sherman, TX the daughter of William Marion Morris and Ola Mae Clark Morris. Shirley loved to read and most of all spend time with her family and grandson Micah. She worked for Payless Cashways for 20years. Shirley married Billy Kitchens in 2005.

Sherman, TX, son, Matthew McDonald and wife Nicole Cherie of Pottsboro, TX, grandsons, Micah McDonald and Jacob Schemmel, mother, Ola Mae Morris of Sherman, TX and three sisters, Priscilla Key and husband Ron, Laverne Morris and Martha Bradshaw all of Sherman, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, William Marion Morris, brother William Mark Morris and brother in law Danny Bradshaw
The family will receive friends at Waldo Funeral Home on Sunday, February 5th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Our condolences to Alan and Laura Townsend Doshier for the loss of his mother -
DENISON - Joyce Leatha Dardin Doshier of Denison went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was born in Summit, Arkansas on January 16, 1924, to Jefferson and Leatha (Tolliver) Dardin. She attended Yellville-Summit High School, Draughon's Business College, and the University of Arkansas. Joyce married her high school sweetheart, Henry, on July 3, 1946. She was a successful business woman and held several positions in administration and accounting, culminating as the Assistant Treasurer for the Morrison Milling Company, becoming the first woman executive in the milling industry. In semi-retirement, she did accounting for businesses in the Denison area. She was active in the Business and Professional Women's Association.
Joyce was a life-long member of the Methodist church and was active in the choir and the Women's Circle. In Denison, she attended Waples United Methodist Church and was a member of the Criterion Class. She also was a volunteer with several organizations including the PTA and the Texoma Medical Center. She was past president of the PEO Sorority.
Joyce will be remembered most as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Henry, of Denison; son Alan and his wife Laura of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; granddaughter Beth Reeve and her husband Andrew of Viera, Florida; granddaughter Jill Meyer and her husband Mark of Dallas; and great-grandchildren Shelby, Nathan, and Madelyn Reeve, and Luke and Ethan Meyer. She is also survived by her sister Lois Craft of Spring, Texas; by the residents and staff of Stonebrook Assisted Living Home where she resided for the last three years, and by many friends she touched throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Joyce will be laid to rest on Tuesady, February 7, 2012, with a graveside service in the Mountain View Cemetery in Marion County, Arkansas near her parents and relatives. She will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Monday, February 6, 2012, at Fisher Funeral Home.

Our condolences to Janice Bailey Harris and her family for the loss of her mother -
Funeral services for Jewel Estel Bailey, 91, of Sherman will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman. Rev. A.D. Kyle will officiate and the services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
Jewel passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Sherman.
She was born in Dallas County on September 8, 1920, the daughter of William Joseph and Lula Jane Mathis Altom. Jewel married Hubert Moss Bailey on December 21, 1948 in Rockwall. After raising their children she later worked as a cook at the Community Hospital, Fairview School and then made all the pies for French's Catering. Jewel was a member of the East Sherman Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert Bailey of Sherman; three daughters, Janice Harris and husband Joe of Sherman, Billie McInroe and companion Scotty Teague of Mineral Wells, and Shirley Wisdom and companion Bob Skinner of Lubbock; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and eight great-greatgrandchildren. Jewel is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a stillborn son in 1953, five brothers and three sisters.
Family night will be held from 6 -8 p.m. on Monday, February 6 at Waldo Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Place, Craig Davis, Larry Duke, Johnny Wayne Altom, Randy Pickering, Joe Harris and Scotty Teague.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County at 505 W. Center St., Sherman, TX 75090 or East Sherman Baptist Church at 910 E. King St., Sherman, TX. 75090, or the charity of your choice .
