Tamara J. Clark Sykes

I graduated from Tuskegee University with a Chemical Engineering degree in 1985. I began a career at Procter and Gamble (in Florida) after graduation. Married my current husband in 1986. In 1996, I left P&G to work in my husband's Information Technology company. Our first child was born in Florida, and the other two children were born in Kansas City, where we have been living for the last 16 years. I enjoy being close to my family living here in the mid west. I am also actively involved in two civic organizations (The Links, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.) and my church here in Kansas City - St. James UMC.

Even though I only did my senior year at Stillwater High School, I really enjoyed myself. I was so happy to have visited with Jewel Dallas (family friend) at recent conferences and email Peter Shearer (old debate partner).
