Fred  graduated from College 1988 and became a RN, at which time he met the love of his life- Chalen, which is also a RN in the Asheville, NC area.

Fred always went out of his way to make you smile and ensure you were having a great day.

You are dearly missed.

Frederick James Cloos, 45, of Arden, died unexpectedly, Monday, October 25, 2004. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Mr. Cloos was the son of the late William H. Cloos and is survived by his mother, Dorothy St. Germain Cloos of Providence. He worked as a physical therapist for Haywood Regional Medical Center and was a veteran of the US Air Force. Mr. Cloos served as a deacon and was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rizalyn Silvino Cloos of Arden; two sons, Frederick and William and two daughters, Danielle and Rachel, all of the home; two brothers, William and Frank Cloos both of Providence; three sisters, Laura and Mary Cloos of Providence, and Susan Meehan of Wakefield, RI. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday at Biltmore Baptist Church with the Rev. James Walker officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the church. Memorials may be made to Biltmore Baptist Church for Missions, 35 Clayton Road, Arden, NC 28704. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road is in charge of arrangements.

Fred,

I was very saddened when I learned of your passing.

You were always a true friend and I enjoyed working with you.

May we meet one day in that big house in sky.
