We lost another one of our classmates recently. Jane Trogdon passed away on January 22, 2025. There is more information in the Valley Courier newspaper (published in Alamosa).
I have a lot of fond memories of Loretta throughout the years. When we were in high school we spent time "dragging Main Street". AHS didn't have a girls' PE class,so some of us from different grade levels got Acheson's Attic to sponsor us in a bowling league. We were lousy bowlers, but had the most fun! Once we got married our families spent time together in Colorado and Arizona. In later years when Loretta had so many physical challenges she still had a positive attitude, amazing strength and a great sense of humor!

"Johnny" Walsh lived a block away from me on San Juan during our junior high and high school years. It seemed like every time I walked by his house on my way to Main St. to go to a movie, shop or have a cherry or lime coke he would suddenly appear and give me a bad time about what boy I was interested in or to tell me a couple of jokes. We'll all miss him and his personality.
