Children: We have two beautiful daughters! Our eldest, Lisa Beth aka Allie Raye is a working actress in Hollywood; More…we are very proud of her. Our younger daughter, Melynda Debra is a mother of three frisky boys! She Home-Schools all three, has a large home, raises chickens and two precious dogs. Melynda cooks constantly as she married a Clergy and usually has a house full of friends! Living in Massachusetts makes it difficult for us to see our three precious grandsons but we try to make the trip a few times a year.

Going to my 50th Class Reunion was wonderful. To be reunited with classmates I haven't seen in years was a real "Shot in the arm"! I was rather disappointed in the CD as I don't think everyone was interviewed-myself included! My Baker School was left out in the cold and we were very active in High School! I felt for the money I paid, I didn't get my money's worth!

School Story:

My High School years were among my happiest ever! We grew up in a Time of plenty! Altoona was a great place to raise children. I was a Color Guard for three years! Marching in the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, DC was one of my fondest memories. We came in first, thanks to John Monti! I was active in Drama; perhaps that's where our daughter gets her talent! Smile! As far as favorite teachers; all my English Teachers were wonderful and mentored me. My Drama teacher, Miss Bartlett, was a gem. Yes, I can recite their names and the Course they taught. Silly me! I was also active in the Drivers Ed Club, Chorus, Future Teachers of America, actually anything I was interested in. I took Art Lessons, Piano Lessons and studied with Ruth Barnes for years. Then my interest changed and I studied with Mario's Studio for years! Great times! I still remember being downstairs in the Mishler Theater waiting for our cue to dance! I was surprised to see the Theater is still around! Our Senior Prom at the Jaffa Mosque was memorable also! Stories! I have a million! Just ask me sometime!!!

Paula Goldberg Talmud passed away on January 26, 2025.  I was notified of her passing by her daughter. Melynda.    Paula enjoyed getting the notices from the website.

Happy Birthday Paula. I enjoyed getting to talk to you at the 50th. I also was disappointed that I didn't' get interviewed nor did my schools Lincoln and Emerson get mentioned,
Life goes on here in Saylorsburg in Eastern Pa. Although I did lose Bill this past June to Cancer. I miss him dreadfully but I sometimes feel him with me.
