Today I am adding our second death for 2017.  So sorry to add Roberta.  When we mailed our information out for our reunion in June hers came back and I could not find another address for her.  Now we know she was in a nursing and died on February 25.   RIP Roberta.  Our sympathy to your family.

Of course I was sad to read that Roberta has passed away.  She was a classmate at Pleasant Valley Elementary and, I believe, lived on Pleasant Valley Boulevard with her grandma.  Roberta was a great classmate, quiet but always with a smile.  I'm sure her family will miss her, as will her classmates.  These notices are getting way too frequent!

So sorry to hear of Roberta passing. We were in a lot of classes together in Roosevelt and AAHS.  She was such a nice person and got along with everyone.  My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

So sad to hear about Roberta.  She was a great gal.  I bumped into her sometime around 1990 and tried to get her to come to our reunions, but she wouldn't as she felt bad about her weight.  I told her lots of us had acquired additional (including myself !)  but people would love to see her.  Did anyone ever see her at a reunion?   Anyhow, I shared many classrooms with her.  RIP.

I was sad to read of Roberta's death.  When I first read the message I remembered we had gone to Pleasant Valley Elementary together.  I could not remember anything from our RJHS or AHS years.  I don't know if our paths didn't cross much during that time or if my memory is just not what it used to be!  However, as I read comments posted by other classmates bits & pieces of information began to come back - where she lived with her grandmother, her quiet personality etc.  When I read about her wonderful smile, a picture of Roberta immediately formed in my mind.  What a great smile & personality she had!   My sympathy to her family and may they be comforted by the memories they have of her.
