I got married in June of 1985. Had my first boy in 1987, lost a baby in 1989, then had my other boy in 1991. Started having marital trouble and hoped to work it out but it was unsuccessful. Got divorced after 7 years. Focused on my boys and vowed to not get married again until they were on their own. They are grown now with families of their own. I now have 6 wonderful grandchildren agea 1yr old to 13 years old.

School Story:

Mostly what I remember about school is band and band trips. That was the absolute best!! Amarillo High is the only school I know that "respects" the band. It was always something to proud of and thankful. I remember cruzin' the Sonic and hangin out at Gibson's parking lot. One night I went to a cotillion dance and went home by curfew, then went back out to go to Shakey's Pizza and then cruise around. Got home at 3:00am, snuck up to my room, only to find my dad sitting on my bed waiting for me. Boy oh boy, did I get in trouble. (Celeste Roberts-remember that?)

Scott and I were super good friends in High School. I remember always cruising around in his beetle bug! I thought that was the coolest car EVER!! I actually was telling a friend about it just the other day. Love you little dude??

I always knew you'd do great things. You were always so smart, of course having me as a friend proves you're smart. Lol. I spent adult life as a Certified Surgical Tech and ended up in Labor and Delivery. 26 years. I ended up with a horrible infection in my shoulder joint replacement and they had to remove my rotator cuff, humeral head and lost total use of my right arm. I'm still in Amarillo, married (2nd), have 2 sons grown with kiddos. I have a stepdaughter with kiddos. 6 grandkids total. We really need to try to meet up sometime. It would be nice to see you.
