I have been in education for 20 years! I’ve taught k-5 and been a reading specialist of 11 of those years! I am currently an assistant principal. I took 6 years off to stay home with the kids and be a mommy! Those were precious years in my life and I really grew to know the Lord in a deep personal way and He is so amazing and faithful! I am truly thankful for His mercy and grace!
My husband and I have been married almost 25 years and going strong! The Lord has really blessed me with a very wonderful husband and family. Ben is the Vice President of a credit union in Houston. We have lived in Houston for the past 13 years and we love most of it!!! We of course miss our family and friends back home in Amarillo but do not plan on going anywhere anytime soon!
We enjoy going to wineries, visiting our college kids in Lubbock, traveling and being with our family! We also enjoy going to Astros, Texans, and Rocket games if can ever go again! We have an awesome church that we love.
