Hello! Just wanted to let everyone know that every Halloween myself and two friends of mine host a Halloween Party the weekend of Halloween. This will be our 8th one, and each year it gets bigger and better! :) Anyway, I am posting my invite here for everyone to read and please come if you would like! It is always fun, and there will be some of our classmates coming already, so more would be great! Here is the invite, and if you do plan to come, please e-mail me as we are trying to keep a count. WHAT'S HAPPENING:
--This year we are doing things a little different from the past. We will NOT be charging a cover charge this year. Instead, everybody will be responsible for purchasing their own drinks. Sluggers has agreed to give our group a discount on pitchers of beer. They serve the large pitchers of beer, and have agreed to serve them to our group for $5.00 per pitcher (He went down on the price for us from$7.75 per pitcher regular price!!!). You have your choice of Coors Light, Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft, MGD Light, Budweiser, Bud Lite, and Old Style. For anybody interested in ordering a pitcher of Leinenkugel's, they will also discount that, but at the moment, he is checking into what kind of price he can offer the pitcher of Leiney's for. But it will be discounted. Please keep in mind to TIP the bartenders!
--There will be a Band this night, and this band will be playing stuff from the 80's through current. Sluggers has agreed to NOT charge our group a cover charge, so when you arrive, make sure you say you are with the Halloween Party, and you will be given a wristband which will make you able to not pay the cover charge, and also purchase the beer at a discounted price.
--Start thinking of a cool costume now, because Sluggers is also having a costume contest for us! :) They will be having first, second, and third prizes, and the prizes could include a bar tab, half barrel party at Sluggers, etc.!
There will be munchies set out too!
We truly hope you will join the fun at our Halloween Party on November 1st! It will be a Spooktacular good time!!! See you there!
