Community pride comes to the fore during the Bloodhound Bash, an annual event that is not just for Auburndale High School Alumni.
Described by organizers as the world's largest class reunion and pep rally, the Bloodhound Bash takes place the evening before the Auburndale High School Bloodhounds play their homecoming football game.
The event usually draws several thousand people, many of them alumni of the school, to Auburndale City Park.
Activities include: FOOD, SCHOOL CLUBS, BAND, FOOTBALL TEAM. PEP RALLY MUSIC, a PARADE from the high school to the park and appearances by the players, band and cheerleaders.
The highlight of the evening is the introduction of the HOMECOMING COURT!
The Bloodhound Bash begins at 5:00 p.m. Parade begins at 6:30 p.m. on the evening before the Auburndale High School football homecoming game at Auburndale City Park.
