Our friend and Auburndale High School classmate, Jolee Hodnett, has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She starts chemo soon and faces a long battle ahead—unable to work during treatment.

Several fundraisers are being held to help cover her medical bills, living expenses, and care costs so she can focus on healing, not bills.

Anyone wishing to become involved in any events or fundraisers can refer to Facebook posts on the Peebles BBQ page. I'm sure I speak for most if not all of our graduating class as well as many of her many friends and family when I say she is in our prayers to help her through this health crisis. I know we have some of our classmates that have passed aways from cancer and we are hoping through prayers and support Jolee recovers from her current medical crisis.

Get ready for a memorable experience as our 40-year reunion is likely to coincide with Homecoming Weekend sometime in October 2030, featuring activities similar to those planned for the 35 Year Reunion. We encourage everyone to contribute ideas and suggestions to make this reunion an incredible success. With extra time to plan, we're optimistic that we'll receive enough interest and commitments to make this reunion a reality. We encourage anyone in contact with classmates who haven't created their class profiles to encourage them to do so. This way, they'll be able to keep up with details as they're determined. The classmates who haven't created their profiles are listed under missing classmates. Please send a notice with any information to the contact link on the class site if you're aware of classmates and/or faculty who have already passed away or pass away, so we can update the site accordingly.
