Steve and I were in Astronomy class together our junior year and remained friends from that point on. He was a quiet guy but so nice and sweet. I was so sad when I read about his death. That one of our graduates had fallen so soon after graduation. I still have his memorial booklet from his service and his obituary as one of the many reminders of how short life can be. He is also one that will not go unforgotten by me!
