Glen was great and we had a lot of fun in high school.  He was very active in getting many of our reunions organized and we had a lot of fun remembering old times.  I will miss him.

I've known Glenn since the 7th grade and have nothing but great memories from our times together.  As someone else said, Glen was always in a good mood.  I can never remember him anyway other than that; it was his nature.  That and that quirkly little giggle was also a part of who he was.  I saw him at our 50th reunion and he was the same "ole" Glen.  Glen, thanks for the memories and your kindnesses to me.  You were a really good friend!  May God bless your family during this time of grief and grant them peace and cofort as they deal with the loss and emptiness they must face going forward.  May they receive a blessing and some strength from all the good and kind things being said about you.  You leave them with a legacy they can treasure.  God's blessings on all. Richard

So sorry to hear of Glen's death. 50 years ago we were all invincible and the reality of time is catching up with us. Prayers of comfort to his family.

Just returned from the services for Glen.  It was such a joy to see his beautiful family of children and grandchildren, relatives, and friends!  It, also,  was inspirational to know that Glen had accepted Christ earlier this past year and is now with his heavenly family rejoicing in the Spriit of the Lord!  Glen was a dear friend of mine and my husband for so many years!  I remember what a wonderful laugh he had and how he loved to play jokes on me, whenever we would get together!  The music at the service was so much a representative part of the old times we all shared as young happy go lucky kids!  It was a very respectable and meaningful event for me!  Glen, Larry and I love you and will never forget you and the good times we shared with you!  Rest in the arms of God in peace!

Carol and Larry Mallow

This is for the remaining loved ones of Glen Kallman.  I attended

and graduated from McCallum in 1961. Although I did not stay

in Austin must after I graduated.  I remember the younger days.

Although I didn't become a friend of all I sincerely regret when one of my classmates pass away.

Here is to Glenns final farewell.  I know that all who knew you will never forget your contribution to their lives.

Patty Shoaf, Esther, my twin sister, passed away early in the '90's.

I was not a close friend not a frequent contact of Glen's. But I certainly did enjoy random and chance meetings with Glen. He always of a  postive and friendy personality.

It sadens me greatly on hearing of Glen's passing. I know that he leaves a very lovely family and enters into a better world in many ways. He is missed but not lost to his classmates, close friends and loved ones. I am certain that he looks from his new place with love and effection for all as we look to Gles's memory.

I would think that Glen's new life is as blessed as his life here.

God Bless Glen's family and his new life.

Most Sincerely,

David Robinson

I moved back to Austin from LA in 1998.  Glen was one of the first of our folks to welcome me back to my Austin roots.  He was so kind.  We went many places together i.e. boating on the Lake, Halloween parties, a wild hog barbecue, karaoke, karoake and more karoke.  I am so lucky to have spent some time with such a sweet soul. I miss Glen.

I met Glen in the early 70's. I don't remember how or exactly when, but I immediately liked him and we became good friends and I went to work for him at city national. When he left there and went to Killeen, I followed him a few months later. We remained good friends until he left Killeen and lost contact a few years after that, but every once in a while we would talk on the phone. I remember playing softball with him and we was always a fun loving guy. We had a lot of good times together and a few sad ones. For his son Jeffrey, I was there the time Glen lifted you into the ceiling fan. He is missed Love and best to the family
