In Memory

Kenneth Kruemcke

KRUEMCKE, Kenneth Lloyd November 04, 1943 - October 19, 2018 Kenneth Lloyd Kruemcke, known to us as Ken or Kenny, was proud to be a third generation Texan. A descendant of pure Lutheran Wendish immigrants, he was born in Port Arthur, TX, November 4, 1943. Ken was born the middle child to Arnold Walter Kruemcke and Clara Hattie Jaehne Kruemcke, who preceded him in death along with sister-in-law Brenda Kruemcke. Ken married Wanda Pemberton, also of Austin, in 1978. Their only child, Aaron Lowrie Kruemcke, died of leukemia at the tender age of four and a half. Ken's remains will be buried next to Aaron at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin, TX. Ken grew up in an Austin more rural than we know today.... Ken attended Trinity Lutheran elementary school, Lamar High School for 9th and 10th, and graduated from McCallum High School, Austin, Texas, in 1961. I did not know Kenny very well but we did share a love of nature and the outdoors!  I also came to Lamar for 9th grade after attending a very small Summit Elementary in rural Austin!  God bless his family and hold him in His loving arms.
