Esther left words of wisdom: "peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. (John 14:27) Let not your heart be troubled. (John 14:1) Esther was educated in the Austin Public School and McCallum High was where she received her diploma. Later in years she enrolled in San Jacinto college in Pasadena, Texas, and studied radiology. Left Austin and moved to Los Angeles. A few years after that she moved to Houston and married Eddie Mayse. To this union were born two boys, Julio and Edwin Mayse. She began to work for Veterans Affair Medical Center. Esther was a very vibrant individual who was loved by many. She was a family-oriented person and loved to have family around her at all times. She was very creative and had a keen eye for fashion. The look of pride that showed on her face whenever she saw anyone adore one of her creations was beyond explanation. She departed this life. She is surely missed by all who knew her.
