Ronnie was my husband and father to Kristina Anya, our daughter who will be 40 this year. Although we divorced after 10 years we remained friends throughout his life. He got his BA from UT, then his Master and Phd in Chinese Linguistics at Cornell. He taught at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maryland. He also was the Deputy Director of the National Language Foundation at Johns Hopkins. He died in Austin at his mother's house on Rosedale from a massive heart attack at 53. April 1, 1943-September 5, 1996

I remember Ronnie and he was a great guy. Most of those years he and Karen were together
and they made such a great couple. I am so sorry to here of his passing.
Ronnie and I had advisory together for all those years, also a few other classes.
Thanks Karen for, letting us know about all his accomplishments in his short life, it is nice to hear
that the two of you stayed friends.
