Carol was a member of Austintown Community Church where she had formerly been a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of O.E.S. McKinley Chapter in Niles, she was a former Cub Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader and member of the Austintown PTA. Carol enjoyed reading and traveling and had bowled in several leagues. Her greatest joy in life was being a Grandmother.

Carol retired from Nova Care in June of this year where she had worked as an office manager for 18 years. Prior to Nova Care she had worked at Youngstown Welding and Engineering. She graduated from Fitch High School in 1962 and had been a member of the National Honor Society.
